Having Studied Drama and been involved in theatre for many years, my interests in the Arts led me, 10 years ago, to renew an interest in sculpture.
I work in clay, wood and stone. I particularly like working in stone that can be polished to a smooth, shiny finish. I Get my ideas from it's shape and colour and and try to find "the spirit in the stone". I carve and polish entirely by hand and love the fact that each piece is individual and unique.
