Rosie took up watercolour painting late in life following a long career in the NHS, firstly as an Occupational Therapist, and later as a senior manager at St Thomas ' Hospital in London , managing elderly services.

Born in Hove, East Sussex, of immigrant Italian parents, she spent most childhood summers in Italy , and later studied the history of art in Florence , before training as an Occupational Therapist. She is inspired by the light, colour, vivacity and culture of Italy and tries to reflect this in her Italian landscape paintings. She also enjoys figurative painting, as well as still life and interiors.

Rosie has attended adult education classes in watercolour painting, but is largely self taught. She intends to try other painting mediums, loves experimenting and in particular the subsequent learning process journey .

She has recently successfully exhibited in Worthing ...and is a member of the West Sussex Art Society, as well as the Weald of Sussex Art Club .
